BABY TREND RECALLS ITS TRENDZ FASTBACK 3-IN-1 CAR SEAT

POSTED BY SAM MUKERJI ON April 16, 2014

Shortly after the biggest car seat recalls in recent years, Baby Trend, Inc. announced they would recall 16,655 car seats because the latch becomes difficult to open with use. This is the same reason other car seat manufacturers recalled their car seats recently, including 3.7 million car seats by Graco and 1.3 million by Evenflo.

Baby Trend recalled their TrendZ Fastback 3-in-1 child restraints, models FB60070 (Granite) and FB60408 (Jellybean) that were manufactured between October 2011 and July 2013. They did not announce any injuries, and stated that the recall is to mitigate “the risk of injury in the event of an emergency in which a prompt exit from the vehicle is required.”

If you have an affected car seat, you can call Baby Trend at 1-800-328-7363 or visit its website at www.babytrend.com. For more information visit ibtimes.com.
