The Incredible Hulk Roller Coaster broke down at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, leaving 32 people stranded on the ride for several hours. The ride stalled 50 feet from the platform due to a glitch, and the passengers were alerted to the situation 10 minutes later.

Some of the riders were able to escape onto a platform, and the rest were eventually rescued by firefighters using a ladder truck. In the years following this incident, the ride has been plagued by ongoing maintenance and availability issues that render it inoperable for hours and even days. Given its proximity to the ocean, heavy use, and need for constant upkeep, these issues look like they aren't an isolated incident. In fact, many riders have stopped riding altogether in favor of newer and more modern roller coasters.
